Irrigation Monitoring & Automation Systems

We offer irrigation monitoring & canal control systems, as well as flow and level sensors. We have completed many canal automation and irrigation monitoring projects over the last decade. We can provide packaged systems that monitor flow or level and record water usage. We also offer systems that control gates and pumps based upon user designated flow requests or irrigation time periods. These are also generally referred to as SCADA systems.

Our systems have many remote (wireless) communication options. We work with licensed and unlicensed (900Mhz) radios, cellular modems, and even WiFi networks. If you are not sure about the option to use wireless in your system due to terrain or other obstacles please contact us to arrange for a radio path test; we can visit your location and test our systems’ ability to meet your needs.

Flow probes and area velocity meters. In some applications these can be used to measure flow rate in place of a flume or weir.

Sensors & Accessories

We have a variety of sensor systems used for monitoring, logging and reporting flow rate through a flume or weir. Most of these sensors (depending on the specific model) send a signal that is recorded by a datalogger, and the data can be retrieved later in person. Or, it can be transmitted live via radio or internet, allowing you to monitor flow rates with a radio receiver, or even from a cell phone or web browser.
